Distasteful Toothpaste Dispensers Can Ruin a Bathroom’s Décor

Toothpaste dispensers might seem like the last thing that you need to worry about until that moment when you are soaking in the bathtub, glaring at the countertop and realizing that the one you have is wrong, all wrong. Maybe your husband talked you into that behemoth that mounts to the wall or you bought one that had the wrong pattern or is just a few shades lighter or darker than you wanted. It doesn’t matter why it is wrong, the point is, that the toothpaste dispenser is just plain wrong.

A few years ago, the big thing was a huge plastic dispenser that was mounted to the wall. For some reason, men just loved the thing but there are several problems with them. First, they are fairly big and bulky and rarely fit in with the décor perfectly. Most of them did not just hold toothpaste but several other things as well and there is the biggest problem with them. After the second or third time you have brushed your teeth with soap or walked out of the bathroom with minty fresh hands, you are ready to rip that thing out of the wall and chuck it out the nearest window.

When you are ready to redo your bathroom, you can change the whole look with just a few accessory changes. You can change the towels, the shower curtain and a few items on the counter and the room will look new to you once again. It doesn’t take very much time or money to do and is certainly far simpler than repainting or wallpapering. The items that are going to be seen first or most often are the ones that you want to pay the most attention to. Who cares if you find a cute toilet brush holder if it is going to be sitting under the counter most of the time! Why have a cute towel rack that is on the back of the door and then settle for ugly items that are setting in plain sight?

When you start looking for the items to put in your bathroom, you might choose to go with a prepackaged set which ensures that you get the right shade or pattern to match the other items. If you are more creative or you want a more dramatic look, then you might want to buy pieces individually, choosing them to complement one another rather than having everything match identically. To some people, they might not be that important, but it is worth the time to find the right toothpaste dispensers.
